Born in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture, the Tokugawa clan’s servant Okubo Hikozaemon (1560-1639).

He was a man who gave his opinion to the generals for the sake of society.

When he was in his sixties, he wrote a book called Mikawa Monogatari.

It says “If you want to live longer, eat bonito”.

Nowadays, scholars and experts prove that bonito has a healthy longevity effect.

The Bonito from Katsuox used in Ise Shrine can be expected to have a major impact on health and mental stability.
